First off, thanks for visiting the page, not nearly done, sorta too busy to

update, but will do so very soon.

Ok, the Fw190D and the Ta152 are very similiar in some respects and very

different in many other respects.

First. The wing.

The Fw190D wing is very similiar to Fw190A/F/G-series wing, about the same

length and dimensions. The Ta152 wing on the other hand is HUGE. It is a

very long and thin wing built just for high altitude interception of B-29s

(which never came I'm sure you are aware ;), but the Luftwaffe was scared of

the threat of them coming). The extra surface area of the wing made the

Ta152 very floaty and a very fast climber but yet the plane was very stable.

Second. The powerplant.

The Ta152H and the Ta152D have the exact same powerplant, the Jumo 213,

which Kurt Tank did not like at all and his personal pet project as the

Ta152C, which would have the Daimler-Benz 603, which was basically the same

as the 152H, just diff. powerplant. In fact, the Fw190D and the Ta152H were

actually stopgap measures to fill the needs of the Luftwaffe flyers for a

heavy duty high alt fighter (since the 190A-series had horrible high alt

performance) until the ta152C was finished.

Lastly. Minor things.

Armament on the Ta152 was different from the 190D, the 190D had 2 MG131 13mm

machine guns in the fuselage (above the engine in front of cockpit) and 2

MG151 20mm cannons in the wing roots. The Ta152 on the other hand had a

Mk108 (I think it was this model, still researching) 30mm cannon that fired

through the propeller hub and 2 20mm cannons that fired from the wing roots.

Also, the Ta152-series had pressurised cabins (the reason that there are

"bubbles" on the canopy in various pictures).

This is all I can tell off top of my head, please e-mail if you have any

more questions.
